What Have I Been Up To?
It’s been quite some time since I updated my blog now. Well, I have moved somewhat away from the online, SEO, website-running business for now. I have started a traditional small business, servicing and repairing computers in homes and businesses. The business is called The Internet Guys.
This all started after working the 9 to 5 for about a year and a half and feeling like I was wasting my life. After some moderate success in the online business game, I figured it is a good way to make a living, but it DOES take a lot of hard work and a lot of time to be successful from it. So unless you have some investment (or your parents) funding your living expenses, it’s very difficult to pay your bills with the slowly-building ad revenue.
Anyway, I do plan to get back into starting and running websites on the Internet. In a few years’ time, my business should be at a point where I can hire staff to take over the majority of the work and get back into it!
The passive income dream IS possible and definitely worth it, but you have to be willing (and able) to put in the time and effort, with no or little return, day after day until you succeed!
